A bit of a WTF! moment......
Sep. 21st, 2011 12:28 pm.... in the restroom of quite an otherwise elegant Italian cafe/gelateria....

BE WARNED !!
Sep. 21st, 2011 03:27 pmAfter a very wet morning, the sun has just peeked out from behind the clouds... Well, Summer is well-and-truly over, Autumn is whizzing by, and according to the radio, the long-range weather forecast is predicting snow, yes, snow, for us next month (October!) ahead of a(nother) hard Winter !!! Noooooooooooooooooo, I can't bear it ! ......And no sight of the so-called India Summer we were told would come this month ! - BE WARNED - get the winter woolies out !
Apparently, Tuesdays and Fridays are not good days to get married (or start a new venture) in Italy, so we were rather surprised to see quite a number being held on the Friday of our trip to Puglia.......
Being Italy, we're assuming the Bridegroom was elsewhere (unless the "colourful" one is the "groom")............ And in spite of a number of people trying to photograph the church facade, the a***hole in the red Tshirt would not move out of the way !
A very anxious Bridegroom waits in the (town hall) Palazzo Pubblico with only a photographer and a friend to keep him company, guests were collecting outside so hopefully the Bride was on her way ! Another town, another church... this tiny one sitting on a cliff edge, ivory satin bows still in place, looked so romantic......
I'm assuming they ignored the "BE WARNED - never marry on a Friday !" .....................................and hope they all live happily ever after !
