Over the country as a whole I think it's bee 1 to 6 inches, but with drifting due to the wind.... It's now slightly thawed but will be turning to ice real soon !
"The winter surprised us" was such a routine excuse of the authorities here for not coping with the snow on the roads that it became a joke, part of the modern Bulgarian folklore. :)
Yes, here too !! I wonder if they think that once it becomes a bit of a joke people just end up accepting it more........ rather than getting angry ;-)
