......or I suppose more like ten and a half months ! ........The Festive Season has been and gone, and what a busy time we had this year in the build up to it, and now all the Christmas decorations are safely stowed away after having been taken down in time for Twelfth Night. I'd planned to do a post then, but LJ was playing-up !!
Now we only have the Panto outstanding, which is this coming Saturday, then we're back to "normal", whatever that is ! LOL
At the beginning of December we had a stall for the weekend at our local Nurseries Christmas Fair, we were selling our cards and calendars. It was the coldest weekend of the winterso far, wouldn't you just know, but at least it was dry....a miracle considering how wet it had/has been. Even some spider-webs were frozen on the gates.

Then it was time to prepare for our Chilli & Chocolate Christmas Party at home..... Stephen came down for the party, as David and Ricardo couldn't make it...... On the Monday I escorted him across London (on public transport shock-horror!) to meet up with Carol, a friend of his who has just moved to north London .... I had met her many years ago.

some of the desserts......

The next evening I attended the Volunteers Christmas Dinner at the Garden Museum which was fun...but chilly, we left to find freezing fog outside.

Then, an old friend, Sue, came to stay for the weekend, we'd not seen her since our Civil Partnership five and a half years ago, for which she'd very kindly done the buttonholes...

Hot to Trot and Chick in Pink.... ....and Surly Chops !!!

and our hosts in vintage 1970's garb

TO BE CONTINUED !!
